Fitz-Gibbon welcomes new negotiator
Since launching a new lettings department at St Margrets this February, Fitz-Gibbon has welcomed Aimee Bruce to the team. Aimee joined this April having excelled in the sales arenas at Britvic and the recording industry. With a degree in psychology and a strong sales background Aimee said: "I learned to appreciate the huge value of quality training and high levels of professionalism early on in my career".
"Aimee is a real asset to the team" added Partner Susan Fitz-Gibbon. "The St Margarets office covers a large area, and as we push the geographical boundaries of our office footprint we continue to puch the boundaries of our industry in pursuit of excellence".
Fitz-Gibbon funds local schools
Every summer southwest London letting agent Fitz-Gibbon sponsors events at local schools. This summer's funding was awarded to The Mall, Cavendish School, St Elizabeth's School, Marshgate Primary School, Vineyard School, St Stephen's School and the Trafalgar Schools.
"Fitz-Gibbon has been supporting the Vineyard School Summer Fair for several years" said Brenda Parmiter of the school's PTA. "This year it was the 'crazy colour maze' which the children loved. The fair raised about £8,500 which will go towards upgrading the playground areas and funding special 'creative arts' days".
The Fitz-Gibbon sponsored barbeque at Marshgate Primary School Summer Fair hep raise £5,000 to fund the purchase of solar panels.
Susan Fitz-Gibbon, Partner at Fitz-Gibbon, said: "Local sponsorship is important to us because we are an integral part of the community in all our office areas. We have been sponsoring local events for 20 years and are delighted to help schools invest in the important resources they need".
Fitz-Gibbon ladies walk the walk
In May Fitz-Gibbons' Carolyn Barrett and Michelle Regan united with 15,000 women and men whey they took part in the 2008 Playtex MoonWalk in London. Organised by Walk the Walk, the annual event sees thousands of participants power walking a 26.2 or 13.1 mile marathon wearing decorated bras to raise awareness for breast cancer. So far Carolyn and Michelle have raised £1,667 towards the charity which has raised over £40 million to date.
"This was the first time either of us had taken part in the MoonWalk and I will definitely do it again," said Carolyn. "You don't need to be super fit to take part - I started training by going for walks about a month before the event". Michelle added: "It was the biggest midnight buzz in London and I completed the walk in a littler over four hours".
